Q. Do I
need rafting experience?
A. No. Everybody paddles under the direction of an experienced and capable guide.
We will provide paddling instruction prior to our first rafting trip.

Q. How many
campers are in a camp?
A. About 10 to 14.

Q. Do you offer
single gender camps?
A. All of our
camps are co-ed. However, if you have a large group and would
like to reserve or create a camp for your group only, please contact us.

Q. What is the
food like?
A. We provide a
delicious variety of nutritious meals. Those meals that include meat can
be served without meat for vegetarians. (back to top)
Q. Where do we
sleep? Can I rent a sleeping bag?
A. Campers sleep
in single-gender 3 to 4 person tents. If you need a sleeping
bag as well please let us know.

Q. How cold
does it get at night? Should I bring a blanket along with my sleeping bag?
A. As we are
doing only summer camping at lower altitudes, temperatures do not get very cold at night. A
sleeping bag rated to 50 degrees should be sufficient. We have extra
blankets if needed. (back to top)
Q. How much
stuff should I bring?
A. Please refer
to our "What to Bring" list for an indication of the items you will need.
You should not need more than a large duffel bag and a small backpack. (back to top)
Q. Should I
bring extra money? If so, how much? Where will it be kept?
A. You will probably want between $20 and $40 dollars in cash. (back to top)
Q. Can I come
with a friend?
A. Sure! You'll
both get a discount too. (back to top)

the camps cost? Are there discounts?

Q. How do you
transport the campers? How much driving do we do?
A. We provide transportation in vans or buses. Most days involve only a
short van/bus shuttle as part of the rafting or hiking experience. (back to top)
Q. Where do I
fly into if arriving by plane?
A. Your flight
destination will vary with the camp in which you are participating. Please
refer to the camp description to determine our meeting point. You will
receive details in your registration package. (back to top)
Q. Can I fly in
a day early?
A. Yes. We
generally can arrange an airport pickup a day early. Your accommodations
will depend on which camp you are attending. Details will be provided in
your camper registration package. (back to top)
Q. What if my
parents need to contact me during the week or I need to contact them?
A. A cell phone
will be available for emergency use and we are generally never far from a
public phone. If you need to contact your parents please contact a counselor
